suppressScreenshots

suppressScreenshots<T>(description, fn): Promise<T>

Defined in: fixture.ts:437

Run fn without producing screenshots for the wrapped actions and assertions, recording a single placeholder (“gap”) step with the given one-line description instead. Use it for routine flows that reoccur across many tests (logging in, seeding data) to keep reviews focused — it also skips the capture work, so the wrapped part runs faster. (Actions still settle first.) Also use it to await changes arriving in an undefined order (websocket pushes): no capture then falls between the arrivals.

A failure inside the block still captures an error screenshot, and explicit screenshot(page, name) calls and forceScreenshots() blocks still capture.
